Lucky Points at Lucky Star

Lucky Points are our loyalty currency. You collect them while you play slots and bet on sport, you collect them for completing simple tasks in the Free money section (Lucky Star free money), and you can turn them into real ringgit on your main balance. This page sets out the exact rate, the games and bets that count, the tasks that pay points and the steps to exchange.

Where Lucky Points come from

There are three sources, and they add to the same points balance.

The first is ordinary play. Qualifying slot bets and sports bets earn points automatically as you place them, so nothing has to be claimed or activated. The second is the Free money section, where a short list of one-off tasks pays a fixed number of points each. The third is the Fortune wheel, which carries Lucky Points among its prizes alongside real money, free bets and free spins.

Points are a separate reward from any bonus you may have running. They build in the background while you use our casino and sportsbook, whatever bonus or promotion you have running.

The exchange rate: RM70 of bets, 1 point

The rate for a ringgit account is straightforward. Every RM70 you stake on qualifying games earns 1 Lucky Point, and the exchange opens once your balance reaches 1,200 points.

Worked through, the arithmetic looks like this: RM70 x 1,200 = RM84,000 of qualifying bets, which gives 1,200 points, which exchange for RM35. Then x1 wagering means you place RM35 in bets before that money is free to withdraw.

So treat points as a slow, steady rebate on volume rather than a fast route to cash. A player who bets small amounts across a long run of sessions builds the same balance as someone who bets heavily over a short one. The tasks and the wheel are what shorten the climb, because they pay points without any turnover at all.

Bets and games that do not earn points

Not everything in the lobby contributes, so read this part before you plan around the rate. Points are credited on slot bets and sports bets only.

The following do not earn Lucky Points:

  • Live Casino tables
  • Electronic roulette
  • Blackjack
  • Speed n Cash
  • Sports bets cashed out early
  • Sports bets settled at odds of 1

The two sports exclusions are easy to miss. If you take an early cash out, the bet is settled on different terms and no points follow it. The same applies when a selection is voided and returned at odds of 1, because there is no settled stake left to count. If points are part of why you are betting, let the slip run to its natural settlement.

Free money tasks at Lucky Star

The Free money section is the quickest source of points on the platform. Each task is a one-off, pays a set amount, and needs no turnover whatsoever.

Clearing the first three takes a few minutes and puts 400 points on the balance, which is a third of the way to the 1,200-point threshold before you have staked anything. The app task is the largest single award in the list, and the install steps for iPhone, Android and macOS are set out on our guide to install the app.

Tasks, points and the sports-bet task all sit together in the Free money section of your account.

Points on the Fortune wheel

The Fortune wheel is a separate weekly promotion, and Lucky Points are one of the prize types it can land. A qualifying weekly deposit unlocks one spin a day for seven days, so the wheel can top up your points balance several times across a week alongside its other prizes. Full conditions for the wheel, including the deposit that unlocks it, sit with our promotions and on the promotion card itself.

How to exchange Lucky Star points for ringgit

Exchange is manual: points sit on your balance until you choose to convert them, so there is no automatic payout at the end of a week.

  1. Make at least one deposit. An exchange cannot be processed on an account that has never funded, so this condition has to be met first.
  2. Build the balance to 1,200 points. Qualifying bets, Free money tasks and Fortune wheel prizes all count towards the same total.
  3. Open the Free money section. Your current points balance and the exchange are both found there.
  4. Exchange your points. At the threshold, 1,200 points convert to RM35 on your balance.
  5. Complete x1 wagering. Place the exchanged amount in bets once, and the money behaves like the rest of your real balance after that.

The x1 condition is the lightest wagering we apply to anything, but it is still a condition, so time an exchange for a session you intend to play rather than just before a withdrawal request. Note too that withdrawing while a bonus is active cancels that bonus, so if you are mid-way through a welcome bonus, finish it before you move money out.

One more practical point: collect the task points early, let play do the rest, and convert once the balance passes 1,200 points.
